BLUEBERRY MARGARITA MOCKTAIL

BONABOOCH KOMBUCHA

Have you ever thought about how a non-alcoholic cocktail can be more challenging to make than an alcoholic one? It needs to have depth, complexity & flavour, but you can’t rely on alcohol to achieve this. Kombucha adds that complexity to any mocktail. Kombucha is effervescent, tart, and slightly sweet.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3-4 ounces Bonabooch Wild Blueberry Kombucha⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • 1 ounce lemon simple syrup⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  • Sparkling water or ginger ale⠀
  • Crushed ice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour Bonabooch Wild Blueberry Kombucha and simple syrup* into a glass.
  2. Add crushed ice.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  3. Top with sparkling water or ginger ale.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
  4. Serve with a lemon or lime wedge.⠀

    HOW TO MAKE SIMPLE SYRUP

    INGREDIENTS

    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup sugar

    DIRECTIONS

    1. Heat the water in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until hot, but do not bring to a boil.
    2. Add the sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
    3. Let the syrup cool to room temperature before using or storing. Using a funnel if needed, transfer the simple syrup into a glass jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.
    NOTE: Store it in a glass container in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 weeks.
