The people of Newfoundland and Labrador have a long tradition of foraging from the land. Greens in spring and summer and bountiful wild berries in fall were all gathered from the barrens to their pantries. Bonabooch continues this tradition, serving up the unique favours of Newfoundland and Labrador with every bottle.


What is an Économusée®?

The Atlantic Économusée Network is part of an international network of artisans who use authentic know-how to manufacture their products. The Économusée mission is to preserve the best of tradition, to develop the entrepreneurial spirit of the artisan and to promote sustainable tourism.

Bonabooch is a proud partner in the Discovery Global Geopark GEOfood Program.

​At Bonabooch, we take pride in harvesting and preparing local ingredients, grown wild throughout the Discovery Global Geopark and encourage you to experience a new flavour or take home a familiar favourite when in season. 


We source over 40 types of these berries, wildflowers, buds, and blossoms in the making of our unique recipes and encourage the use of sustainable harvesting methods as strive to leave some food and plants behind for our wildlife and mother nature, to ensure we continue to have access to these precious resources.

GEOfood is the official label of local foods in a UNESCO Global Geopark.
